Operation Bald Eagle - A Camp for Scouts.

We are dependant on, and grateful for, the help and assistance of Adult Leaders, Helpers and also Explorer Scouts who are members of their districts 'Young Leader' Unit who come along to help us.

This year we are having to be mindful of the number of Explorer Scouts who attend the camp. Explorer Scouts are members of our youth sections and as such PO&R requires they have appropriate adult supervision and cannot themselves be responsible for supervising Scouts.

Explorer Scouts who are Young Leaders and work within the Scout Section on a regular basis are always welcome to attend as part of a Troops established leader team. Other Explorer Scouts and Units should enquire with the organisers before making any firm arrangements.

Camp Cockerel - A Camp for Explorer Scouts.
Held at Rhydd Covert Camp Site, Kidderminster.

2008 saw the very first Camp Cockerel 2010 dates to be confirmed.
The format is similar to the Operation Bald Eagle Camps, but for Explorer Scouts.
Operation Bald Eagle is happy to support and promote this Explorer Scout initiative.
